Right Content, Right Group: Page Builder Now Follows Your Group Hierarchy 馃幆
Your VIP guest was also registered as an attendee, so they got the VIP concierge section and the whole attendee homepage stacked underneath. That's over. On pages created after 20 October 2026, the Page Builder decides what each person sees from their highest-priority group in your event's group hierarchy. It's the rule the rest of Swapcard already uses, and what you check when previewing a page as a group is now exactly what that group gets live.
How it works
For every section restricted to specific groups:
- Pages created after 20 October 2026: a person sees the section only if their highest-priority group is one of the section's allowed groups. Someone in both Attendees and VIP is simply a VIP.
- Pages created on or before 20 October 2026: nothing changes. A person sees the section if any of their groups is allowed, so pages already live keep their current behavior.
The rule applies to every page you build in the Page Builder, your event homepage included.
Example: you build a VIP homepage with a concierge section for VIP only, and agenda and expo sections for Attendees. A sponsor's CEO registered in both groups now gets the VIP page you designed, and only that.
Since the top group now wins, check the order of your event groups before you build new pages: it decides who sees what. 馃Л
