AI-Generated Session Summaries on Web

Swapcard now offers a simple and efficient way to provide attendees with an instant overview of recorded sessions: AI-generated summaries available on the web event app. This feature helps organizers present clear, accessible content recaps without any manual effort, making it easier for attendees to understand what each session covers before watching.

How It Works

AI-generated summaries can be created for any session that includes a recording. This applies to:

  • RTMP sessions converted to on-demand through an attached recording
  • Backstage sessions converted to on-demand through an attached recording
  • Roundtable sessions converted to on-demand through an attached recording
  • Video File sessions

From the Session details in Studio, organizers can trigger the AI summary generation. Once the recording is available, the system analyzes the content and produces a concise overview of the session.

A few important points:

  • The summary can be edited at any time, allowing organizers to refine the content if needed.
  • The summary appears instantly in the web event app, making it immediately visible to attendees.
  • For RTMP, Backstage and Roundtable sessions, organizers can enable the AI summary even before the session goes live. The system will automatically wait for the recording before generating the summary.
  • This feature is currently web-only, meaning summaries are visible exclusively on the web event app, not on mobile.

Follow participants' selections for the Hosted Buyer & Smart Meetings

As part of our Hosted Buyer & Smart Meetings feature - where we generate optimized meeting schedules through smart matchmaking and participant preferences - we’re introducing a new enhancement to make the selection process even smoother.

You can now track and manage participants’ interest levels (“Highly Interested,” “Interested,” or “Not Interested”) directly during the selection phase. In the Studio, organizers will see every participant along with their selections, and can add or remove selections as needed. Contact details (email and phone number) are also available for quick follow-ups.

Once meetings are generated, organizers can see which selections led to confirmed meetings, review each meeting, or manually create additional ones if needed. Even after regenerating schedules, selections can still be managed on this page.

Organizers will also be able to view the number of meetings generated and attended for each participant, giving a clear overview of engagement.

This update is designed to make the selection flow easier, more flexible, and fully in the organizers’ control, so you can deliver the best possible networking experience for your event. It brings even more value: it helps organizers increase the quality of business connections, boost exhibitor satisfaction with more targeted meetings, and streamline operations during busy event days. With clearer insights and more control, exhibitions can deliver stronger ROI for exhibitors and a more seamless matchmaking experience for all participants.

For a limited time, EVAA (Beta) is available for free so you can try it out, share feedback, and help shape the smartest AI companion for your events.

What is EVAA?

EVAA is an AI-powered assistant natively built in the event app. Participants can simply chat with it in any language, and EVAA will help them:

  • Find the right people to meet and connect with
  • Choose and register for the most relevant sessions
  • Discover exhibitors, products, and booths and bookmark them
  • Navigate the venue, halls, and facilities
  • Get support on how to use the event app

Because EVAA is part of the Swapcard platform (not a generic external chatbot), it understands your event setup, including:

  • Who the participant is (attendee, exhibitor, speaker, etc.)
  • Their past actions and behavior in the app
  • Visibility rules and content access
  • Permissions and feature access
  • What each person can and cannot see or do

My AI recommendations feature is now live. Previously available on the web, it is now accessible on mobile! This means it provides a seamless experience on your mobile device, accessing all the recommended content for your event in one convenient page. Whether you're looking for sessions, products, people, or exhibitors, our AI-driven recommendations will help you find exactly what you need.

For event organizers, simply add the new "my AI recommendations" view in the event settings to enhance your attendees' experience.

Enhance Exhibitors' AI recommendations by refining custom fields for exhibitors

As part of continuous efforts to improve matchmaking and networking opportunities for exhibitors and attendees, custom fields for exhibitors thas been refined to give more sense to certain criteria.

AI recommendations for exhibitors have always been a valuable tool for facilitating connections and increasing visibility. However, every exhibitor is unique and may have specific preferences and priorities when it comes to networking. The AI algorithms are now fine-tuned to better cater to these individual needs.

By giving more sense to certain exhibitor fields, the AI technology will now be able to provide even more accurate and relevant recommendations for potential connections. This means that exhibitors will have a higher chance of being matched with attendees who share similar interests, goals, and objectives. This, in turn, will lead to more meaningful interactions and successful networking opportunities.

People AI recommendations highlighted on the People list

It is highly important for users to easily find and connect with the right people, especially at events or exhibitions where time is limited. With this new feature, it becomes even easier for participants to discover potential connections and make the most out of their networking opportunities. 

That's why a new highlighted field has been added to the people list: AI recommendations. This highlighted field makes it easier for attendees to identify which aspects of a person's profile matched their interests or requirements. This allows them to quickly determine if this is a connection they should pursue. 

It is easily added to the people list by the event organizer by checking the checkbox in the Studio > Pages & Menu > People list > Data > Display preferences section.

Exhibitors AI Recommendations available on Mobile

AI Recommendations improvements continue, and this time, the Mobile user experience is enhanced! Inside the Exhibitors page, Exhibitors' recommendations will now be displayed to ensure easy access to your best interests. 

By clicking on it, you will have access to the full Exhibitor Profile to find the best information, book a meeting, or register for a session that your recommended exhibitor might host. The app offers up to 10 recommendations, and they are refreshed according to your interests over time.

A brand new design for the AI recommendations feature on Web is released. Our team has been working to enhance your user experience and we believe this new design will do just that.

The new design for the AI recommendations feature brings a fresh and up-to-date UI that is not only visually appealing but also provides clear and easily visible information. We understand that time is of the essence for our users, and with this new design, you can quickly find relevant recommendations that will help you make the most out of your Swapcard experience.

As a reminder, the AI recommendations feature includes carousels, making it easier for you to browse through the suggested content. This will save you time and effort in finding the right sessions, exhibitors, and attendees that match your interests. Additionally, we also have the My AI Recommendations page where you can view all your personalized recommendations at once. This further enhances your networking and learning opportunities.

Please note that this new design is currently available on our web platform only. However, we are continuously working on making it available on our mobile app as well. We believe that this update will not only improve your experience with Swapcard but also allow us to add new and exciting things to the AI Recommendations.

Optimize the Exhibitors Performance with AI Recommended Leads

To enhance the experience of Exhibitors and maximize their opportunities, we are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking feature in our Exhibitor Center: AI recommended Leads based on attendees' interactions.

Our new feature harnesses the power of data analytics and artificial intelligence to provide exhibitors with personalized leads recommendations. By analyzing leads' interactions within the app, such as booth visits, inquiries, and engagements, we curate a list of potential leads tailored to their interests and objectives.

Furthermore, the Recommended Leads Dashboard enables lead assignments to team members, improving follow-up and team collaboration.


How does it work? 

As an exhibitor, you just need to go to the Exhibitor Center > Leads > Recommended Leads. 

Here, you will have a list of potential leads you should connect with, along with their interaction score. The interaction is calculated based on the lead's interactions made with this specific exhibitor. 

Several details are available by clicking on the lead, like interactions details and the lead profile. All this information makes the leads management smoother and creates opportunities to engage in discussion with these interested potential contacts! 

Finally, filters and team assignments are here to simplify onsite event management and allow you to spend your precious time networking and connecting with Leads! Click on the 'assign to' column and select the team member you want to assign to this lead. The team members will then manage their accounts and focus on specific networking areas. 

NB: This feature is a paid add-on, included in the Advanced and Ultimate Exhibitors packages.

We’re excited to announce a significant improvement: the My AI Recommendations section is now exclusively available on a dedicated page. This new feature is easily accessible from the main menu, making it more visible and convenient for all participants to explore.
