Improved Offline Mode Scans

We have improved the messaging and introduced new buttons for smoother interaction while in offline mode for lead scanning.

Your scans are securely stored locally on your device when you're in Offline Mode. And to keep you in the loop, we've enhanced the messages you receive. So, even without a connection, you can trust that your scans are in safe hands. Just remember to sync them once you're back online.

To streamline your scanning process, we've added two new buttons:

  • Open to Qualify: Effortlessly qualify a scan for further action.
  • See My Pending Scans: Directly access your offline scans screen with a single click, bypassing the contacts list for quicker access.

Whether you hit the "Back" button, switch to a different QR code scan, or press any other buttons after scanning a badge in Offline Mode, rest assured that your scan is securely saved, on both iOS and Android.

With these enhancements, we aim to provide you with an even more reliable and user-friendly scanning experience. Trust that your scans are always secure, even in challenging connectivity situations.

Introducing SwapAccess Checkpoints

Announcing the latest evolution of SwapAccess with Checkpoints!

  • Elevate Attendee Experience: Checkpoints allow you to seamlessly scan attendees at various locations.
  • Versatile Use: Whether it's entrances, exhibit halls, or any location of your choice, Checkpoints have got you covered.
  • Building on Success: Enjoy all the features SwapAccess already provides

Monitor who goes in and out with attendee tracking or utilize access control to limit your attendees based on their group. Just like session scanning, Checkpoints will work offline and sync all of the scan data whenever an Internet connection is available.


Additionally, we are introducing a dedicated SwapAccess menu item, under Event builder, to access all of the scanning data and functionality. Here you will be able to see only the sessions with SwapAccess scanning enabled as well as all the Checkpoints. You will also be able to see the number of people scanned in and out of each.

Smart Meeting Generator ✨

Transform the attendee networking experience with the Smart Meeting Generator. Leveraging the power of AI, this latest release facilitates dynamic speed networking and helps organizers optimize meeting creation. As an organizer customize the meeting settings and conditions to ensure your attendees make the most out of their event experience. The feature is currently free until December 31st, so it's time to discover the exciting possibilities of speed networking powered by AI!

Improved navigation for mobile Web App access

Mobile usage at events is essential, and the navigation experience just got better! The new Side Panel navigation on the web app features a simple and user-friendly design, placing the menu on the side for maximum screen space. Additionally, it enhances browsing efficiency by allowing users to access pages directly without the need to return to the home page.


Direct links for event ticket registration

Exciting registration upgrades are here! Now, with the addition of direct registration links, each ticket, public or hidden, has a dedicated URL available. This unique link ensures the exclusivity and privacy of that specific ticket, while also adhering to start/end dates and quantity limits, resulting in a streamlined and more efficient registration experience.

Enhanced Event Navigation with Grouped Pages

On the Web App, enjoy smoother navigation and improved user experience with grouped pages. Organizers can now consolidate multiple pages under a single sub-navigation bar button, leading to a more organized top bar that provides more views without unnecessary clutter.

Introducing Exhibitors Members Roles

In the world of event organization and management, collaboration is key. That's why we're excited to introduce the latest version of our platform, now equipped with roles for members of exhibitors to define access levels to the Exhibitor Centre.

Two roles are now available: Admin (the existing one) and Limited Access.

Organizers can manage roles directly from the Studio: Content -> Exhibitors -> Exhibitor settings -> Members:

Important to note: 

  • by default, all members are created as Admins
  • for all existing events at the moment of the release, all members will be automatically considered Admins

Event ticket registration upgraded with direct links

Introducing a new feature that will elevate your event experience. Our latest enhancement to registration allows you to provide direct registration links – for both public and hidden tickets. Here's what you need to know:

  • Dedicated Ticket URLs: Each ticket now comes with a unique URL, making registration even more straightforward.
  • Privacy and Exclusivity: Using a dedicated URL ensures that registrants can access only that specific ticket.
  • Date and quantity limits: The begin and end dates will still be respected along with the quantity limit (if set).
  • Ticket Listing: The main registration URL will continue to list the publicly available tickets.

You can retrieve the custom URL using the new 3-dot menu on the ticket listing or get it directly from the ticket details view.

Smart Meeting Generator: Create speed networking using AI

If you’re looking to create speed networking or meetings-led events, then you’re in luck. We’re excited to announce the latest feature: our Smart Meeting Generator which creates speed networking with AI.

The Smart Meeting Generator is an innovative way to engage attendees to network, optimize meeting creation, and make people meet each other. With our new AI-based speed networking feature, you’ll be able to orchestrate the meetings quickly and efficiently.

We understand the importance of speed networking events and the value they bring to the table. With the Smart Meeting Generator, you can easily customize who should meet, in which locations, and when. You can rest assured that your attendees will get the most out of their networking experience.

How does it work? 

How to set it up?
Go to the Studio page, and click on Meetings > Generator.
Here, you can customize your condition according to your needs: Group matching, Locations, Time slots, etc.
Then, all you need to do is click on "Generate meetings".

How does our magic AI work?
- Our custom-made NLP (Natural Language Processing) engine estimates the potential of each possible meeting.
- A multi-dimensional priority system generates meetings taking into account the quality of meetings, compatibility of users' groups, and all sorts of constraints (schedules, locations, diversity of meetings...), and much more...
- Smart implementation enables us to offer thousands of meetings per second!

After, a short period, a success email will be sent to you so that you can check the generated meetings. 

Here is the trick: the generated meetings are created as "draft" meetings. So that only you as an organizer have access to it. Participants know nothing until you confirm the draft meetings.
Besides, for each meeting generated, some AI explanations are displayed so that you know why 2 persons have been matched. 

Draft meetings can be edited, cancelled, reviewed, and everything you need to customize and optimize your networking session!
The final step is to confirm the draft meetings: in bulk or individually. 

As a participant: 
Then, participants will receive the meetings in their schedule as normal meetings, with AI explanations about why they matched with this person. 

Now, the networking can begin! 

Finally, with the Smart Meeting Generator, you can efficiently generate speed networking with AI, allowing you to create the perfect networking opportunity for your organization or team.

Networking time is vital at events, and unanswered meeting requests can be frustrating. Event organizers can address this issue by setting up an expiration time on meeting requests. This update facilitates more efficient networking for attendees, leading to an increase in overall event satisfaction.


Live Discussion displayed in Backstage

Elevate the event experience for both attendees and speakers with live discussions in Backstage. This integration eliminates the need for switching between apps, providing a unified interface to monitor attendee interactions in real-time. The key advantage is enabling speakers and moderators to engage with the audience instantly, fostering deeper connections and creating a more interactive event.


Backstage Session Moderation Assignment

Managing Backstage sessions with multiple members can cause challenges and coordination issues. This new feature enables event organizers to designate a moderator role to a team member, resulting in improved communication, streamlined management, and increased accountability.


Seamless Check-In Registration Meets SwapAccess

Ready to streamline the event check-in process? With SwapAccess app, whether you're scanning attendees into sessions, they will be instantly marked as checked-in, saving valuable time. What's even better, organizers don't need to configure anything on their end as this will be all automated for them.

Enhanced Event Navigation with Grouped Pages in One Sub-Menu Bar Button

We are happy to announce a game-changing feature that will significantly enhance your experience: the ability for organizers to group several pages under one unique sub-navigation bar button. This innovative feature promises to streamline navigation, enhance organization, and improve the overall user experience.

With this new feature, organizers can now consolidate multiple pages under a single sub-navigation bar button. This means you can have more views without the clutter of too many buttons on the top bar. It's all about making your navigation smoother and more intuitive, allowing you to focus on what truly matters.

How does it work?

1) Open the Organizer Studio 

2) In Event Builder -> Content Display -> You can now create a group

3) Click on the 'Create Page Group' button 

4) Drag and Drop the pages to your new group 

 

Note: For now,  groups are only available on the web, but will soon be available on mobile (for now on mobile, the pages simply appear as they were not in a group).

90 Days Event Duration Limit

Starting from this release when you create an event on the Swapcard platform, the maximum duration you can select is 90 days.

Why do we limit event duration?

Limiting event durations is rooted in our dedication to fostering communities. By setting time limits, we encourage vibrant, interactive gatherings where members can build connections and have memorable experiences.

This commitment also improves interactions and helps avoid potential issues with analytics caused by long or repeated events. Another update to facilitate this change involves restricting the ability to modify dates of past events: if the start date of your event is past, and the event is published, you will not be able to change the event dates. 

Please note that there are no restrictions on the duration for which the event can be published. This limitation only applies to the event's start and end dates, the platform can stay 'live' for as long as you need. The past events with a duration of 90+ days will remain unchanged; no automatic adjustments will be made.
