Exporting Abandoned Registrations from Studio

When the Abandoned Registration feature is enabled, organizers can easily export a list of incomplete registrations from the people list. This allows them to track users who haven't finished registering, target them with emails encouraging them to complete their registration, and ultimately boost event attendance.

Similar to other exports from the people list, organizers can simply click on Export and select "Abandoned Registrations." The resulting download will include details only of users with incomplete registration forms.

Attendees can reschedule meetings

As event organizers, it’s important to ensure attendees are able to engage with each other and maximize the networking opportunities. With the release of our new feature, attendees can now reschedule meetings with their peers on the web app. The mobile version is already on its way!

This feature is designed to make it easier for participants to make the most of their time at events, letting them adjust their schedules to make sure they don’t miss out on any key connections.

The ability to reschedule meetings also saves event organizers valuable time, as they don’t need to manually adjust participants’ agendas.

How does it work?

For pending, confirmed, and canceled meetings, all participants will be able to reschedule from the Meeting details page on the web app (and soon on the mobile app).

The participants simply have to click on "Reschedule meeting", and they will be able to select a new date, time slot, or location, if available and if the permissions allow it.

Once the rescheduled action is over, all other participants will receive a new meeting request along with a new notification on web and mobile app. The old meeting will appear as 'rescheduled' and the link to the new meeting will be mentioned.

Redesign of Custom Field Editor

Custom fields are important additional fields that allow you to enhance sessions, items, exhibitors, or people profiles. Once created, you can edit the custom fields by adding filters and managing the visibility.

We are thrilled to introduce a revamped custom field editor in Studio. The editor now features two tabs: General and Properties.

In the General Tab, you can edit the following details:

  • Label: Clearly describe the field's purpose to make it easier for attendees to understand and complete.

  • Placeholder: Provide a description of what should be entered in the field.

  • Maximum number of choices: Specify the maximum selections allowed.

  • Section: Organize and structure data by assigning custom fields to appropriate sections.
  • Values: Edit the options available for single and multiple-choice custom fields.

The Properties Tab allows you to edit the following details:

  • Field visibility: Control whether the field is displayed at the Event or Community level.
  • Field edition: Decide if attendees can edit this field in their profiles.
  • Searchable field: Enable this option to include the field's values in search results.
  • Used for recommendation: Allow the recommendation engine to use this field for knowledge or interest-based suggestions.

Custom fields are an essential tool for event organizers, enabling a high level of personalization and efficiency in handling attendee information. By using custom fields, participants can be categorized within the event app, facilitating connections between attendees with similar interests or expertise. This improvement simplifies the management of custom fields, making them more useful and relevant for organizers.

In addition to the enhancements to the Custom Field Editor, we have incorporated the Label and Placeholder fields into the Swapcard registration form. Organizers can now edit these fields directly from the form sidebar, making the process more time-efficient and streamlined.

Organizers have the capability to prompt users to complete their registrations

Organizers can now encourage users to finalize their registrations by sending them an email through Studio.

What is the process for doing this?
Complete your registration emails can be sent to users who have abandoned their event registration forms, leaving them in an incomplete status. This email can be sent from two different places within the Studio application:

1. Email section in Studio - by activating the "complete your registration" email. This is a one-time email, meaning it won't be sent repeatedly to new users who abandon the event registration form. The organizer needs to enable this type of email and set a specific date for sending it. Any user who has an abandoned registration at that time will receive a "complete your registration" email, allowing them to resume the registration process by clicking the link in the email.

2. People list in Studio - by selecting the individuals who should receive this email. The organizer can select all users with abandoned registrations, or specific individuals, and send them an email with a link to complete their registration by clicking the "Send link to complete registration" button.

Upon the receipt of this email, users can finish their incomplete registration forms by clicking on the provided link. Users with incomplete registartion forms also have the ability to delete all data associated with their incomplete registration from Swapcard entirely.

New split permission for lead report

Managing access to critical data in Exhibitor's lead reports just got easier and more efficient with our latest update. We are excited to introduce the new split permission feature, designed to give Organizers more control and flexibility over exhibitors' access permissions.

Previously, Session Bookmark and Session Scanning were combined into a single tab within the lead report, with our new split permission feature, you can now manage these two reports' accesses independently.
