Custom Form Fields by Registration Ticket

Swapcard Registration just got a little bit more flexible! We’ve updated our form builder to allow you to show or hide fields based on the ticket selected. Note, that these filters only apply during the registration process. You’ll still want to use Group permissions to control fields within the app.

With this new feature, you’ll be able to customize your form to collect only the data you need. You can choose to show the field to All Tickets and the field will always appear.

Or, if you need to limit this field to one or more tickets you can choose specific tickets and select only the ones that are applicable.

As a bit of a Pro Tip, choosing “All tickets” will make sure that the field is available for the tickets that exist and new ones that may be added later. If you choose “Specific tickets” and select all the current tickets individually, any new ticket types that are added later won’t see this field.

Allow Attendees to Access Multiple Tickets

Your attendees can now access all of their QR codes in the Swapcard app!

Previously, codes were limited to just the most recent QR code (badge code). With this latest feature, you have control over how the attendee sees their codes. You can still choose to add a button for the most recent QR code, but you can now show all of the attendee's QR codes. Additionally, you can choose how to sort the codes.

Once you’ve added the button to your event, attendees will be able to scroll through all of their tickets – should they have more than one ticket. We know that tickets are primarily used from a mobile device while onsite, so we’ve ensured that this feature has also been released on the iOS app, Android app, and web app simultaneously! You’ll also notice that the contents of the code are displayed when you’re showing “All tickets.” This is to help differentiate which ticket may be needed.

Introducing Swapcard Registration

We’re excited to announce our all-in-one platform just got better. Swapcard now has registration built into the platform. This is just the first release of many amazing registration features to come.

And there is no extra cost for using this feature, it's included in your licence! 🤩

Form Builder

The power to build your registration form is in your hands. With our amazing form builder, you’ll be able to customize the registration process with the fields of your choice, set what is required, and add as many pages as needed. New features will be added to the form builder in the coming weeks – check back for the upcoming conditional logic!

Tickets

The introduction of tickets is the foundation of registration. You’ll be able to make multiple tickets if you choose. Each ticket can have a limited or unlimited quantity. The real magic happens when you start to assign a Swapcard group to each ticket type. With this option, you can control the permissions within the Swapcard event from the moment they register.

Managing Registrations

Registrations can be managed cohesively with the current attendees. You’ll be able to add registrations, modify tickets, or even cancel registrations.

Coming Soon

In addition to conditional logic being added to the forms, we’ll also be releasing custom registration terms in the very near future. Here at Swapcard, we have big plans for registration: embeddable forms, payments, community registration, and onsite solutions!
