‘First time viewed’ column added to booth, products and advertising in reports

We have enhanced data in the following three reports, by adding information about the first time attendees visited a booth, product page and saw the advertising.

Swapcard Studio

  • Exhibitors' pages, ads, docs, and items views and bookmarks
  • Item views and bookmarks

Exhibitor Center

  • Leads Report

A “First time Viewed” column in the format of MM/DD/YYYY was added to booth, product and advertisement metrics in the above listed Studio and Exhibitor Center reports to help organisers and exhibitors analyse and understand user behaviour better.

Organizers can now add restrictions on data access by exhibitors

Organizers can now tailor access to leads data based on a custom field or a term consent. This new feature can be used to remove leads who did not provide consent to be contacted in the future. It can also be used to further monetize access to leads.

How can organizers exclude details from EC Leads report?

  1. Access the Swapcard Studio
  2. Navigate to “Content” → “Exhibitors” → “Exhibitor Settings” → “Report Condition”
  3. Navigate to “Add Condition” and select a custom field or a term and its values in order to exclude data from the report

    *The selected condition will be applied to all of the events within the community

This new feature allows organizers to select the data that will be shared in the Exhibitor Center report.

Availability of reports from the analytics dashboard

Organizers can now export detailed statistics directly from the Analytics Dashboard. The following three sections include an “Export” button for a quick link to the reporting:

  • Number of logins by device
  • Networking
  • Contact Scoring

The quick links allow organizers to access these statistics in a fast and simple manner rather than search for this data in the reporting section of studio analytics.

We continuously strive to improve our data and UX to ensure our organizers have the most seamless experience using the platform.

New Event Analytics Dashboard!

Swapcard’s analytics dashboard provides an overview of event metrics that are essential for event organizers to quantify and improve event performance.

We are releasing a revamped experience to ensure that the data displayed is relevant, clear and can be easily found in the Studio Dashboard.

The changes will include:

  1. Visual appearance
  2. User activity over time
  3. Tooltips: these are informational bullet points clarifying how metrics are calculated
  4. Reporting export links
  5. Dark appearance

Bookmark exhibitors and items displayed on Community

Organizer can now create a new tab for their community members to easily access companies and items they have bookmarked.

How to create this new view?

The “My Favorites” view can be set from the Studio on the Community home page by clicking "Add button" under content display. A new view called "My favorites" will be set and clicking this view will add the content to the homepage.

You will be able to set the design (label, color and icon) for the button. Bookmarked companies and items (wish list) will be automatically added.

Simulated live: Turn your pre-recorded videos into live streams

This new feature allows organizers to upload pre-recorded video sessions into the Studio as if the sessions were actually live-streamed. This helps organizers increase their time-management and efficiency while still producing engaging sessions.


After uploading a video file (Please refer here: https://release.swapcard.com/upload-video-file-for-pre-recorded-session-4GB7AQ), organizers can choose to simulate a live stream and still use all the key features of a Swapcard stream, including HD streaming, live chat, analytics, etc.

The stream will be treated as if it were live. This will give the user access to streaming options in the event app with similar capabilities to a live RTMP stream.

To stream a simulated live, after uploading a file, an organizer only has to switch the toggle to “On” in the “Simu-live” toggle.

The organizer has the ability then to set up a start date and stream will start at given date as a live stream on the event app.

The only restriction the organizer has for setting up  a “simulated live” event is that the session has to be created at least 30 mins before the start of the session, so internally, Swapcard has enough time to process the file.

Uploaded videos will be played in event app as currently is the case with streaming provider, in this case as a live stream, having the user no control on timeline on event app and only showing once on designated set time by organizer.

The user, after setting playback session time and availability start date, will be able to select whether this is a public stream or a private one, .This will function as current functionality, making the stream available within set time. If no availabilty end date is set session end date will be used.

Search attendees by biography & searchable custom fields

What is the purpose of an event if not to create meaningful connections? Have you ever found it difficult to meet the right attendee? 

Well, that's why we're upgrading the attendee search! You will be able to find exactly who you're looking for with the new search feature, making the results as relevant and personalized as possible! 

From today, here is the list of all the search possibilities:

  • By biography - NEW!
  • By searchable custom fields - NEW!
  • By company name
  • By the last name
  • By the first name
  • By job title

Don’t wait and test our new ways of searching to find your best matches!

💡 To be able to search by searchable custom fields, the organiser only needs to switch on the property “include in search results” when editing a custom field.

Ability to create custom terms related to your event

Following organizers’ feedback, we are pleased to announce that now organizers have the ability to create "terms" in the studio to seek event attendee consent on event’s terms and conditions. As attendees access the event, they will be able to view and accept these terms.

We will also soon allow organizers to exclude the data of the attendees that didn’t consent to data sharing from exhibitors’ reports. That way, organizers are able to fulfill attendees preferences regarding data sharing.

To do so :

  • Go to this new terms section
  • Add a short description of the terms and if needed a link to your page containing the details

Important: The possibility to have the terms approved at registration will be available soon

Search items by searchable custom fields

Search functionality allows attendees to quickly find what they are looking for in an event.  the Swapcard platform already offers the ability to search inside items’ pages using below different fields:

  • By name
  • By exhibitors name
  • By description
  • By custom fields - NEW!

Today, Swapcard introduces the ability to search by custom fields.

A custom field is a field that is added by the organizer, editable by the attendee or not, to give more information about the item.

For example, you could have a custom field that you created called “Color”

You can have values like “Yellow”, “Pink”, or “Orange”.

With this release, the attendee would be able to search an item by color.

For each custom field created, the organizer will just need to switch on if the custom field has to be included in the search results.

Exhibitors' recommendations

At Swapcard, we strive to provide attendees with a custom experience, which is why we show personalized content recommendations to them! We just launched exhibitors’ recommendations so that attendees can easily find exhibitors or sellers they may be looking to connect with.

Our AI makes these recommendations based on the data from attendee profile and their interactions with the app.

By clicking these personalized recommendations, the attendee will find relevant information about the exhibitors. In order to have more accurate recommendations, the attendee can either add more data to their profile or mark recommendations as irrelevant. The AI will learn from it and return more personalized recommendations.

At any time, the shortcut “Learn more” is available to give more information about Swapcard’s AI.
