We recently added an iframe option for the Event Home video, and now it's available for Exhibitors as a video header, too! 🥳
To add an iframe player as a video header for exhibitors:
1. Head to Studio -> Event Data -> Exhibitors -> Exhibitor details
2. Choose 'Other (iframe)' as a streaming platform and add the SRC link to the video player
This option is also available in the Exhibitor Center, so exhibitors can directly add it as well.
Note: Swapcard synchronizes with more than 60 most popular video providers, but if you get an error that your video player isn't supported, please contact us and our tech team will sort it out!
In Event settings, we added a page to manage Guest Mode & Registration
These three new settings allow you to render your event available for people not registered, as well as manage how people will be able to register for the event.
Studio setting
1. Guest mode will let everyone with the link access the event's content and see a preview of all the features delivered to participants.
2. Suggested events will add your event to the new "Suggested Events" section, where you can showcase your upcoming events to encourage your participants to register for your next events! Please not that your event needs to be hosted on a branded app to be suggested.
Let potential attendees see what they're missing out on and get them registering!
If the person browsing the event isn't registered, they'll see all the features but be prompted to log in to perform actions such as sending messages or meeting requests.
Once Guest mode is enabled, you decide which content is accessible publicly and which one is available to registered participants only.

Mobile app
When you add events to the "Suggested Events" section, people will be able to access them without logging in to your branded mobile app.
When downloading your app, people will see a new option to continue without login, which will let them browse events straight away! Then they will be prompt to login or register for the event.
Organizers can now choose if they want the platform to recommend similar exhibitors to the attendees. Similar exhibitors are generated by artificial intelligence and displayed in the 'You may also like' section on the exhibitor details page. 🧠
The recommendations can be switched off in the Studio → Event Data → Exhibitors → Exhibitor settings.
By default, the option is enabled. It's a great tool to boost leads for exhibitors and increase interaction on the platform. 📈
Here's how to add an iframe player as a video header on the Event Home page:
1. Head to Studio -> Event Home -> Add a video header
2. Choose 'Other (iframe)' as a streaming platform and add the SRC link to the video player
Note: Swapcard synchronizes with more than 60 most popular video providers, but if you get an error that your video player isn't supported, please contact us and our tech team will sort it out!
Now your attendees won't have to leave the platform to check the floor map or to participate in your engagement activities!
All third-party links can be opened inside Swapcard's platform, and what's more, the 'Website' field is now multilingual which means you can set up different links for your event languages!
There are few simple steps to add external links:
1. Go to the Studio -> Event Home -> Event content
2. Press 'Add content' and choose 'Webview'
3. Enter all the required information and choose Open in an embedded iframe. The website field is multilingual.
Note: please make sure that the partner service allows embedding their website - it's easy to check with our Preview option!
4. You're all set up! Now you'll have a new button on the top menu which opens your external website inside the Swapcard app
No need to remove a video streaming link for past sessions if you're using a single stream for the event. Just add the availability end date to the session on the Studio.
Note: by default the streaming end date is the same as the session end date. It's also available when importing sessions from the Excel file.
Organizing and running events on Swapcard has never been easier. ✨ We're thrilled to introduce a new feature called "Organization". That means your events are now owned by your organization.
You can invite teammates to your organization and give them access to manage and create events under your organization's account.
1. Access your organization from the top right-hand corner menu in the studio.
2. Click on "Invite a member", add your colleagues' email addresses, select their roles and send the invitation!
3. All they need to do is accept the invitation and they're all set.
Each time you create a new event, it needs to be assigned to an organization. You can choose an existing organization, but to create a new one, follow these simple steps:
This a great feature that improves teamwork! 👨👩👧👦 💚
Grid mode: the brand-new way to display exhibitor items and a surefire way to get more leads looking at what they have to offer! 💥
Visitors to exhibitor pages will no longer only see 3 featured items, but a whole grid of up to 10 items that the exhibitor puts on display.
If there are more than 10 items, the 'See all' button opens a new page with all the items.
Profiles have been redesigned, and the main update is that custom fields are now displayed on profiles. That's right; each attendee can customize their profile highlight the information they want to share!
From the Studio, the organizer can control the visibility of each custom field, as well as whether or not participants can edit it. This update gives more freedom to participants, while maintaining control for the organizers 🙌
🆕 Note for ongoing events and clients: We have removed the second job title and skills fields.
