Exhibitor Center, On Your Terms: Rename It and Control Who Gets In 🎛️

"Exhibitor Center" doesn't land with every exhibitor — and until now it stayed open to everyone, forever, whether the event was unpublished, live, or long finished. Two new controls in Studio fix both at once: rename the Exhibitor Center in every platform language, and turn access on or off for each exhibitor group.

What's new

Two organizer controls, both living in Studio:

  • Custom navigation labels — rename both the Event and Exhibitor Center sides of the navigation, per platform language.
  • Per-group Exhibitor Center Access — a toggle on any group with exhibitors that decides whether its members can get into the Exhibitor Center.

How it works

Rename the Exhibitor Center

  1. In Studio, open your branded app settings and expand the new Advanced section.
  2. In the Desktop Navigation labels block, set an Event label and an Exhibitor Center label for each language on your platform (up to 25 characters each).
  3. Save. The web navigation switch and the "Me" tab immediately reflect your naming — any field left blank falls back to the default.

Control access per group

  1. Open any group that contains at least one exhibitor.
  2. Flip the new Exhibitor Center Access toggle on or off in the group's side panel.
  3. Save. Access updates on the exhibitor's very next load — no waiting on the event to start or end.

Key behaviors & options

  • Per-language labels: name the navigation in every platform language; blank fields default to "Event" and "Exhibitor Center."
  • On by default: every group with exhibitors starts with access ON — including groups created before this release — so nothing changes until you decide it does.
  • Tier-based access: give Gold or Diamond exhibitors the Exhibitor Center while keeping other packages out.
  • Live enforcement: switch a group off mid-event and those exhibitors lose access on their next navigation; switch it back on and they're in again — instantly.
  • No broken doors: when access is off, the web switch shows the Exhibitor Center as non-clickable (with a "not accessible" hover message using your label), and the "Me" tab hides the redirect entirely.
  • Lifecycle control: keep the EC open before publish so exhibitors complete their profiles, then close it once the event is over instead of leaving it open indefinitely.
